Convert your online bank statements into QIF files for use in your favourite money application.

Instructions

  1. Log in to your online banking as usual.
  2. Select the transactions you want to convert (don't include the headers).
  3. Copy.
  4. Paste into the textarea above.
  5. Select the format of the statement and date. Some statements have an account balance on the end but you don't need to worry about that. There are a few examples below if you need a bit more in the way of explanation.
  6. Hit preview to see how it's going to come out.
  7. In the preview you should see American style dates (24/12/09, for example) and negative numbers for withdrawls.
  8. If everything looks okay hit convert.
  9. Wesabe users in Firefox should see the upload to Wesabe button, as per usual.

* Not a typo: Sainsbury's Bank really do have two separate formats for their statements depending on what type of account you have!
